How do I reset an orchid dying?
I left my old house was fine and when I brought my new home, the faded flower fall leaves and stems brown / black … I cut the stem and the interior is hollow, except at the base. I think my father and I do not communicate watered so it may be a problem of excess water. The roots are still green / yellow and slightly firm so I hope. How can I save? Oh, and is a Phalenopsis or spelling.
That does not sound good. Phal can get away with foil if it is, but when it loses its last leaf, there is usually a damn. Excessive irrigation may cause but I doubt it. You can try to keep it in a damp place (windowsill of the kitchen or bathroom) for a while and see if you can show a clean sheet. It is possible, since you said that the roots are still firm. They should have a greenish silver. If you do not see the action in a month or two, buy a new one. Next time, cut the stem when the last flower fades. BTW is written Phalaenopsis.
