How do I plant my Moth Orchid roots emerging from the bottom of the pan? The roots can be cut?

My Moth Orchid roots the Board and leaving holes in the bottom of the pot? Then cut the roots into the pot? Someone in a nursery aDivs I cut the roots and not hurt the plants. On the otherhand I advise not to break the roots when repotting. How do I get pot plants without damaging the exposed roots? The roots are long, too long to connect to another boat and do not bend without breaking. Please help. Thanks Your help in this matter. Terrie Andrews

By cutting the roots will not damage the plant because it is a clean cut. Breaking it will damage the installation, as there will be presentations of the nutrients the plant needs to survive. Therefore, cutting the roots to keep as long as possible. The worst that will happen with the cutting of the roots is the growth will be slower.
